The Ace Apartments

Located at the gateway of the vibrant Scott’s Addition neighborhood in Richmond, Virginia, 1117-1209 N. Arthur Ashe is a 5.9 acre site that is being repositioned in a joint venture between SJG Properties and Level 2 Development. When complete, the mixed-use project will consist of a 300,000 square foot new building that includes 296 new apartment homes and over 13,000 square feet of retail.

In addition to the mixed-use project, the joint venture team is repositioning the vacant, historic warehouse at 1209 N. Arthur Ashe Blvd. The approximately 12,000 square foot building will be repositioned into retail or office space.

Built in 1911, this meticulously refurbished Beaux-Arts Revival building was adapted from a Class C office building into 189 Class A apartments and 11,254 square feet of ground floor retail. Navigating complex
Federal Historical Tax Credit financing The Woodward received a NAHB Pillars Award for
best adaptive reuse project. The Woodward Building was one of the first office to apartment conversions in Downtown Washington.

The Hudson and The DeSoto is Multiphase ground up development of two apartment communities  totaling 150 apartments and 15,599 square feet of retail in the heart of Logan Circle.

The Southern Building

The Southern Building built in 1910 and since completely renovated, the historic Southern Building is located at 15th and H Streets NW, just one block from the White House and the McPherson Square Metro. The Southern Building boast over 190,000 sq.ft of office space, over 15,000 sq.ft of neighborhood serving retail and recently upgraded amenities such as a rooftop terrace, full fitness center and sauna.

The Metro

The Metro was designed by SK&I Architects, and was joint venture between SJG Properties and PN Hoffman. The seven-story development was recognized with a Residential Design Award in 2006 by the Washingtonian.

Saxon Court

Situated at 1440 Church Street, this 46-unit condominium building was a joint venture between SJG Properties and PN Hoffman, and completed the winter of 2003. Inspired by a 1950’s auto repair garage, Saxon Court sets itself apart from the rest with its unique and chic-retro-industrial facade, an exhilarating fusion of imagination and modern design, with influences of concrete and steel contrasting with stunning sheets of glass and distressed brickwork.
